Emily Logan was Ireland’s first Ombudsman for Children. She was appointed by the Head of State, President Mary McAleese in 2004 to develop the Ombudsman for Children Office in Ireland. She is independent of Government and reports directly to the Oireachtas (Parliament).
Emily will share her insight and experience of leading, cultivating and creating a culture of excellence that focuses on improving rights for children and young people in Ireland.
