Effective Social Media Masterclass
Are you confident firing off a tweet or a Facebook update but want to take the next step to make your social media presence more effective and intentional?
- Over half a day we will explore the importance of knowing your online audience, how to sustainably grow it, and evaluate how best to reach people online with your organisation’s message.
- What makes good content that is engaging and sharable? How does the use of imagery affect levels of engagement? When your organisation is online, what tone of voice does it adopt? Are you turning followers into advocates? What can you learn from your peers, competitors and critics?
- How can you measure significance or success? Since having a large number of friends and followers doesn’t always equate to influence, we’ll investigate how to use the tools built into Twitter and Facebook to understand your online activity and boost its effectiveness.
- Finally we’ll look at techniques to deal with online disruption, whether from individuals, a strong reaction to something your organisation has said or done, or parody accounts.
Throughout the sessions we’ll pause for exercises and case studies, as well as listening to your feedback on your own online experiences of social media.
Cost: £70 for CO3 Members, £90 for Non Members.
