Previous Delegate Feedback
“In 2013, I graduated with a MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School. I can easily say it was one of the most diverse and best Leadership programmes I was on. Until, this year, I participated on CO3 Excelling in Leadership 2016-17 programme!
With money being so tight, and training budgets stretched to the limit you almost feel bad as a leader developing your skills. But it is essential and especially if you apply the knowledge it really can make your organisation more effective. It wasn’t so much the content of the Excelling Leadership programme, I was already familiar with the theories and concepts, but for me it was about the peer support. The programme really encouraged and supported building networks and collaborative thinking to deal with specific leadership challenges in our sector. I would highly recommend this as a refresher leadership programme and remind you that what you put in you get back. The community & voluntary sector more than ever need effective leaders and the CO3 Excelling in Leadership Programme certainly is a nurturing environment where you can hone your skills with remarkable peers!”

"I was happy to take up the opportunity to participate in the Excelling in Leadership programme provided by CO3. While the course attracted a lot of new CEOs, I have been in a senior role for 15 years I had never undertaken a formal leadership course and I wanted the opportunity to test my thinking and absorb some new ideas. I found the course to be well run and the subject matter was thought provoking and covered a wide range that was both theoretical and practical including for example, facilitating a 360 appraisal of ourselves by staff and Board members. I personally gained some helpful insights about my own approach and came away with some useful tools to use and some new approaches to introduce to Bryson Recycling. While the course content and delivery was very good, perhaps what really made the course was the rapport that was developed with fellow participants. The sharing of experiences and circumstances, peer coaching and shared learning was powerful. I would certainly recommend this course to other leaders. "
