Social Media Clinic with Alan Meban

Social Media Clinic with Alan Meban
Friday, February 16, 2018 - 09:30 to 12:30
CO3 Offices (34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, BT2 7DB)

Are you confident firing off a tweet or a Facebook update but you want to take the next step to make more of an impact with your social media presence?

A three hour session with the aim of giving delegates the confidence to interact online for work or campaigning using social media in a safe and more intentional manner.

What’s new or changing in the world of social media tools and platforms? What other social media tools should you be aware of?

What makes good content that is effective and sharable? What works and what doesn’t? Tips for good social media communication and some pitfalls to avoid.

How can the analytical tools built into Twitter and Facebook help you understand your online activity and help you change what you do to boost its effectiveness? What can you learn from your peers, competitors and critics?

Finally, we’ll think through how to deal with online disruption, whether from individuals, a strong reaction to something your organisation has said or done, or parody accounts.

It’ll be an interactive session with time for conversation to share your experiences as well as some case-studies and discussion about the opportunity that social media offers individuals and organisations. As always, the Chatham House Rule will apply to discussions.
