Xchange Summer School 2016
The Xchange Summer School is an innovative event for people who want to bring about social change in Northern Ireland. It's for thinkers and explainers of all ages who want time out to have alternative conversations and change the perspective on areas such as action, bravery, change and diversity
The Summer School was developed by a group of people who believe that by having alternative conversations we can all have a better understanding of where we are as a society and where we need to go.
We believe that we need to have space to talk, to take off our 'organisational hats' and to allow for new thinking and creative challenge to occur in Northern Ireland, challenging the stagnant and conservative society we live in.
We are delighted to announce the dates and location of our Xchange Summer School for 2016. Please place the dates in your diary today! This year's event promises to be bigger and better with great themes and speakers.
The motivation of the Xchange Summer School is to introduce new voices and thinking to change the conversation on:
1. A city of 7 Quarters?
2. Towards Societal Well being
3. Faith, spirituality and mind body practices: and its contribution to the transformation of society
4. Hacking Democracy
Media will feature will as a horizontal theme across all four main themes.
You can access the full programme and information on speakers here.
We will update on speakers and further programme details in due course.
