CO3 members have the capacity to come together and form special interest groups. These groups might be formed in a specific policy area such as health and social care, or could be formed by leaders sharing a common interest, such as social enterprise.
The CO3 Health and Social Care Special Interest Group is formed of members with a shared interest in the specific policy area of Health and Social Care.
Over the last 12 months, CO3 has facilitated meeting, seminars and consultations with our members, the wider Third Sector, the HSC Board and DHSSPS regarding Core Grant Funding, the new Innovation Fund, Integrated Care Partnerships ( ICPs) ( including direct access to the Third Sector Rep for ICP); Multi-Disciplinary Groups; E Health; Reablement; Knowledge Transfer; Commissioning Review;
CO3 coordinated a Third Sector response to Core Grant funding issues and sits on the Design Team for the new DHSSPS Innovation Fund
Members of the CO3 Health and Social Care Special Interest Group have met with the Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety and are currently maintaining strong links regarding ICPs, in particular through eHealth, with the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS).
