ICP Third Sector Coordinator, HSCB

The Health and Social Care Board has established 17 Integrated Care Partnerships (ICPs) across Northern Ireland, to bring together a range of health and social care service providers, including the Community and Voluntary sector, to design and coordinate services in a collaborative and integrated way.

A number of Community organisations are represented on the Partnerships, where they can bring a broad perspective on the needs of their local communities, experience in innovating to meet those needs and expertise in measuring the impact of person-centred interventions.

Other partners involved are GPs, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Allied Health Professionals, the Ambulance Service, service users and carers. A range of exciting initiatives are now getting off the ground, which directly involve Community organisations in delivery.

A number of Partnership Committees are seeking representatives from the Community sector to join – namely, Antrim/Ballymena, Armagh/Dungannon, Craigavon/Banbridge, Lisburn, Ards, and North Down.

This presents a unique opportunity to influence the design and delivery of health and social care services in your area.
